Account Management Tool (Password Reset and Staff Directory)

Our team has implemented a simple utility that will allow staff, parents and students to reset and unlock their own district computer and email password. This utility can be used anywhere, on any device that can access the internet. When a teacher, parent or student is locked out, they can use another computer that someone is logged into, their phone, or a guest session on a Chromebook.

This tool also houses our Fairport Staff Directory! This feature becomes accessible after following the steps below for enrollment.

Follow the steps below for registration and first-time use of the utility:

  1. Visit the site: https://accounts.fairport.org

  2. Log in with your district Username and Password (the same username you use to log into Schooltool)

  3. You will be asked to setup Security Questions in order to complete the enrollment

  4. Once completed, you will be able to log in to change your password, reset your password if you have forgotten it, or unlock your account after too many incorrect password attempts.

  5. Once logged in, users will be able to search the Staff Directory

A few notes:

  • You must login and setup security questions first before being able to reset your password or unlock your account. If you are unable to access your account and have not yet enrolled with the new account management utility, you will need to contact the Helpdesk at helpdesk@fairport.org, or call 585-421-2043.

  • Students may also enroll their Fairport accounts with this utility as well
